Position: EM/CBRN Equipment Capability Development Analyst Salary range - $80,000 to $90,000 Clearance - Secret Location: Tyndall AFB, FL Assist in development and/or review of modernization, policy, and other supporting documents annually. Provide administrative support, prepare for, attend, and participate in multiple meetings (to include telephonic, local, and other CONUS/OCONUS locations) annually. This position will provide centralized program management for all DAF actively involved non-medical passive CBRN defense modernization programs. Collects, evaluates, and analyzes data (e.g. complex requirements, research, development and acquisition issues), and develops recommendations to the client. Potential Tasks: Participate on all overarching integrated product teams, working integrated product teams and JRO, Joint Program Executive Office, and special working groups supporting CBRN defense capabilities and programs, and present issues for resolution. Coordinate on and provide comments to all initial capabilities, capabilities development, and updated capabilities development documents. Develop and coordinate initial CBRN non-medical passive defense modernization systems concept-of-use document (DAF Annex) for all capabilities documents. Compile DAF-specific system capabilities submitted by the MAJCOMs and submit to the JRO at the initial systems working group for inclusion into capabilities documents. Participate as a subject matter expert for system operational test readiness reviews. Assist in the development of realistic operational test scenarios for system use, monitor limited user test events, and observe and report on the event and test participation. Review and provide comments to the lead operational test agency on test and evaluation master plans and monitor events throughout the systems plan development. Review and provide comments on developmental test plans and monitor events throughout system test development. Monitor and observe instructor and key personnel training prior to operational test and evaluation. Participate in the technical development of tactics, techniques, and procedures. Monitor new equipment training provided by the lead operational test agency prior to multi-service operational test and evaluation. Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the DAWSON Contract Task Lead or DAWSON Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Active secret security clearance
  • 3-10 years experience in EM, CBRND or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of Air Force emergency management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and facilitate multi-agency responses with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in producing technical reports, requirement documents, background papers, white papers, and similar Government documents.
  • Knowledgeable with Air Force and DoD policies and procedures to develop inputs and products for the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS).
  • A current passport is required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of starting the position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management or Disaster Preparedness (or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in one of the three levels of the Air Force Certified Emergency Manager Program preferred.
