About the position

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line. You will work with custom hardware built in-house for our Cyber group, making the world's most advanced Cybersecurity and Encryption products even smarter. This role involves working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity and high-speed data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices.
  • Work with custom hardware built in-house.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team.
  • Design and implement real-time multi-threaded embedded software.
  • Maintain and refresh long development lifecycle products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense SECRET security clearance required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded software experience, preferably on Linux OS.
  • Model-based development experience, preferably Rhapsody.
  • Extensive experience with Object Oriented design and programming, preferably in UML and C++.
  • Experience with ARM virtualization extensions, preferably Hypervisor.
  • Experience with device drivers.
