Make a Difference The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for driving an emergency vehicle to the scene, assessing the patient as directed by the EMT-Paramedic on the scene, administering treatments, assisting the EMT-Paramedic, monitoring the patient, relating history and patient assessment to the Emergency Department personnel and transporting the patient to a facility. Reports to the Nurse Manager and or EMS Coordinator and is under the direction of the charge nurse, registered nurse and supervisory personnel. Performs duties and responsibilities in a quality manner adhering to all hospital policies and procedures. Attends to patients of all ages and genders. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
