About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The ER RN will provide immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary emergency care teams.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York or compact where applicable)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on acuity
• Provide emergency nursing care for trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, paramedics, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and emergency protocols
