Reporting to the ED Manager, maintains responsibility for assisting and supporting the Emergency Department and Treatment Center Nursing and Medical staff in the delivery of patient care. Under RN supervision, provides direct patient care; performs technical and medical procedures that are not governed by licensure. May assist in directing unit environmental aide to ensure supply availability or perform clerical, stocking, and cleaning functions as required.
