About The Position

About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work Accountable for the daily management of equipment, materials, and instruments for assigned specialty team or area within the department. Coordinates equipment, materials, and instruments for procedures and other patient care needs, assuring presence, location and availability. Educates users on equipment and material function and processing. Acts as a contributor to the Value Analysis Committee, as needed. Collaborates with other members of the health care team to ensure continuity and coordination of services. Collaborates with experts or acts as a resource for specialized equipment or materials in area. Tracks purchase orders for receipt and follow up, as needed.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferably in business, operations, nursing or other related healthcare area
