About The Position

As an Employee Development / Training Specialist as part of our Industrial Operations - Training team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical capabilities of aerospace manufacturing workforce. In this role you will play a key role in:

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to work onsite in Everett, WA
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, instructing, or as an employee development specialist
  • Proficiency in working with detailed work instructions and reading/interpreting blueprints and drawings
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies
  • Experience in one or more specialized areas such as Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, or Systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Adaptability to different learning styles and teaching environments
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Conducting learning requirements analysis and establishing clear learning objectives that align with operational needs
  • Performing as an instructor in specialized content areas within Aerospace Skills expertise, such as Electrical, Structural, Seal, Quality, or Systems
  • Facilitating engaging learning events and knowledge transfer through effective teaching and team coaching techniques
  • Delivering training using a variety of methods and techniques, customizing learning programs to meet diverse learner needs
  • Tracking and observing student performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance skill development
  • Conducting individual and group assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements
  • Emphasizing safety precautions in all training activities while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
  • Addressing classroom challenges promptly in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all delivered courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational standards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance training materials and develop supplementary resources that support learning objectives
