Bartlett Regional Hospital is recruiting for an Employee Health Specialist to join our team! The Employee Health Specialist is responsible for the employee health program and coordinates all aspects of that program.
Responsibilities
- Use data to identify and control health and safety risks and to inform and implement policy decisions at the department and organization level.
- Coordinates client care to effectively promote health, manage illness and injury, prevent disability, and facilitate return to work.
- Demonstrates current knowledge of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations that impact nursing practice, workers, workplaces, and the environment.
- Serves as a good steward for budget dollars allocated and practices within budget constraints.
- Communicates the direct and indirect consequences of injury and illness on worker productivity, employee engagement, and quality of life.
- Participates in interdisciplinary teams, including those that plan for and respond to emergencies, pandemics, and disasters.
- Gathers a health history, conducts assessment, and applies knowledge of work processes and hazards/exposure for accurate clinical decision-making including fitness for duty, and return to work decisions.
- Analyzes and evaluates clinical service delivery using evidence-based strategies for continuous quality improvement.
- Establishes and maintains records in accordance with current regulations ensuring confidentiality of health and personal information.
