About The Position

Conduct employee investigations and resolves hourly concerns and issues. Coach supervisors and managers in employee performance. Assist management team with corrective actions. Make recommendations and leads initiatives to improve retention and reduce employee turnover. Maintain supportive relationships with employees, supervisors and managers. Ensure compliance and company policy is adhered. Ensure employee morale programs are initiated and maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 - 5 years' Human Resources Generalist experience in a role with high visibility and responsibility
  • PHR Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for hourly and salaried employees with most employee issues including discipline, investigations, and policy guidance.
  • Conduct roundtable meeting to gather feedback and take appropriate actions.
  • Supports administrative oversight for the HR department.
  • Support the Management team in policy interpretation and guidance on team building and performance improvement.
  • Report and analyze metrics to spot trends and make the CHRM aware.
  • The ERM ensures that attendance, unemployment, file management etc., are compliant.
  • Typical reports, Employee Turnover, I9, Active Employees, Kronos reports, Hours summary, missing punches, On Premise, I9 analysis.
  • Ensure compliance to all company safety protocols.
  • Compliance to include I-9 maintenance and notification of expiration to employees.
