Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required;
  • At least one year of experience providing employment services.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Current auto insurance and completion of a thorough background check, including criminal record and abuse/neglect.
  • Must provide evidence of being free of infectious diseases, such as TB, prior to employment and annually thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in an applicable field from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized career planning and job placement services.
  • Create and foster relationships with employers to enhance competitive, integrated employment opportunities.
  • Support clients and advocate for their needs with employers, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct client orientations to explain services and discuss their rights and responsibilities.
  • Educate employers about the advantages of hiring individuals with disabilities.
  • Analyze local labor market trends to assist clients effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with referral sources regarding client progress and opportunities.
  • Respond to crises with clients at work sites, providing necessary supports.
