WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING AT CDD Community-Focused Role: 100% community-based — minor facility work. You’ll support clients directly at job sites, training sessions, and local businesses throughout Kansas City. Flexible Schedule: Hours vary based on client and employer needs. Some early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be needed for client success. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Valid driver’s license (Class E MO or Class C KS), auto insurance, clean driving record, and personal vehicle (required).
- Compassionate communication, strong organization, and a person-centered mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and complete CPR/First Aid (training provided).
Nice To Haves
- Prior caregiving, education, or human services experience and employment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coach clients in job readiness, professional skills, and workplace success.
- Assist with job placement, training, and long-term employment support.
- Build partnerships with employers and community agencies.
- Develop individualized employment plans and track outcomes in Therap
- Travel daily using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
