About The Position

Sentara Health is currently hiring for an RN to work at Sentara Norfolk General on the Endoscopy Unit. Generous Sign on Bonus for Qualified Candidates! POSITION OVERVIEW Hours/Shift: Full Time – 36 hours per week Shift start time varies between 6:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Circulating, scrubbing, preop, postop On Call is required during the week and every 3rd weekend Types of cases: Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Manometry, Small Bowel Endoscopy, EUS, EBUS. Unit completes approximately 15 – 25 patients per day One to two years of prior RN experience in med/surg is acceptable Endoscopy, Endo, Outpatient, Surgery, Surgical Requirements: REQUIRED: minimum of 1yr previous hospital experience required, Endoscopy experience preferred. ADN required, BSN or higher preferred. RN License in good standing.
