Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Review patient medical history and prepare them for procedures through proper positioning and site preparation (cleaning, shaving, or numbing).
Set up the sterile field and prepare all necessary endoscopic equipment and supplies.
Observe patient vitals and comfort levels before, during, and after the procedure, immediately reporting any abnormal changes to the medical team.
Analyze and report test results while identifying and correcting recording errors or artifacts in real-time.
Handle and process medical specimens collected during procedures according to protocol.
Ensure the laboratory area is clean and that all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team
