The Energy and Utilities Director will lead, plan, coordinate and manage the procurement of utilities for QTS. This includes leadership responsibility for energy/water/waste contracting, risk management, predevelopment, supplier management, sales training, and customer communications related to energy contracting processes. Expected travel is 20%-30% to attend conferences, internal meetings etc. You will work closely with the development team on infrastructure improvements (substations, transmission and distribution feeders, etc.) for new sites in the US and Europe. You will use your experience to help QTS meet its commitment to procure 100% of its energy from renewable sources by 2025, and you will sit on the Sustainability leadership team to assist with energy related goals and commitments. You will manage green building certifications, and interface regularly with utility related dashboards to assist in operational financial planning.
