About The Position

This role is responsible for acquiring new customers, opening doors, and generating new revenue for the company. The Energy Sales Representative focuses on prospecting, competitive conversions, and entering new markets. This is a pure new-business role. We are looking for a driven, competitive, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business. This person is energized by prospecting, building relationships from scratch, and closing deals. They do not wait for opportunities; they create them.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities and generate new revenue
  • Prospect daily through calls, networking, referrals, and market research
  • Open doors with businesses not currently working with us
  • Win competitive conversions
  • Enter and develop new geographic or vertical markets
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Conduct meetings, present solutions, and close deals
  • Partner with operations to onboard and retain new customers
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
