About The Position

The Engagement & Connectivity Intern will support initiatives that enhance the employee experience throughout the full employee journey—from onboarding to key milestones and beyond. This role will assist in planning events, coordinating employee recognition programs, and creating content that strengthens engagement and connection across the organization. This internship offers hands-on experience in employee engagement, internal communications, and event coordination within a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for simple graphic creation
  • Interest or experience in event planning and coordination
  • Creative mindset with an interest in video and content creation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional, friendly, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events, including intern events, social hours, and company gatherings
  • Support coordination of company milestone anniversary gifts and luncheons
  • Organize and distribute employee gifts, apparel, and materials for company events (e.g., Fall Conference)
  • Help create and maintain employee-facing content, including videos, digital displays, and internal communications
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for employee headshots and department introductions
  • Assist in creating company materials such as a yearbook for fall conference, department milestone maps, and department boards for new building
  • Support vendor coordination for items such as photography, promotional materials, and event supplies
  • Contribute to special projects such as videos, employee experience initiatives, and internal campaigns
