We are looking for an experienced Engagement Manager who is passionate about helping businesses succeed and meet their immediate staffing needs. The Business Operations team at Wonolo is the oil that keeps the gears turning throughout the lifecycle of a Wonolo customer. You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to shaping the future of work responsible for nurturing long-term relationships, identifying ways to expand collaboration, and finding creative opportunities to make our partners across a number of verticals successful including but not limited to distribution/logistics, hospitality and business services. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to the key users of our platform. You will also proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through hands-on, in-market relationship building and consultative sales activities. You will provide timely product insights and training to our key users to ensure adoption and growth of our platform within the customer’s business. This role will have a stronger emphasis on business development and field-based sales engagement within the Los Angeles and Inland Empire markets. This job is based in Los Angeles, CA and is a hybrid role of being in-market visiting customers (primarily in the Inland Empire area) as well as remote work. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance (ideally within 40 miles) from the Inland Empire area to enable regular onsite visits with customers. Travel will also be required to other parts of California (i.e. Northern California) for customer meetings.
