About The Position

The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Engine Assembly and Test Lead Engineer to join our team at our facility located at 3450 Sam Williams Dr., Ogden, UT 84401. The successful applicant shall work on-site and be responsible for performing design and/or design analysis requiring experience in the selection and application of standard engineering principles and techniques. This position is 100% onsite; no remote or hybrid option is available at this time. More Specific Duties Include: Perform design and/or design analysis of components and systems, applying standard engineering principles and practices. Work in cross-functional teams specializing in areas such as aerothermodynamics, structural design, accessory systems, materials, production, and testing. Conduct feasibility studies and develop design criteria for complex engineering projects. Assist in creating and revising engineering procedures and specifications. Review product designs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Approve manufactured parts based on specifications; prepare discrepancy reports for nonconforming parts and propose corrective actions. Participate in cost and schedule estimation for engineering projects. Prepare technical drawings and reports and contribute to proposal efforts through the compilation of technical data. Assist senior engineers in cross-disciplinary assignments to develop broader engineering proficiency.

Requirements

  • U.S. or Foreign Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering (or a closely related field)
  • Two (2) years of experience performing turbine engine assembly and test troubleshooting, root cause analysis and recommending software and mechanical solutions.
  • Two (2) years of experience testing and evaluating new materials and manufacturing processes to improve product quality and reliability.
