About The Position

This position is responsible for providing high-quality teardown, inspection, and repairs of diesel and natural gas engines in a shop environment, responding to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner, and, ensuring maximum value for work performed.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of diesel engine rebuilding experience
• Must be able to read schematics and understand manufacture specifications.
• Must be computer literate in order to complete all duties. Daily computer use is required
• Must be able to write service reports in detail about work performed in order to report to customer all findings.
• Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Must have own tools to perform duties.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have steady employment history
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. approximately 15 times a day.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented.
• Excellent work attendance is required.
• Able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand

Nice To Haves

• CAT ET and CAT SIS 2.0 experience is preferred or related diagnostic software
• Diesel Technical schooling or Off-Highway Equipment schooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex repairs correctly such as teardown, inspection, repairs, test running, in a shop environment.
