Job Description: Microchip FTS located in Beverly, MA is considering candidates for a self-motivated, intensely customer focused product engineer to work with our team. This position will be primarily responsible for providing on-going technical and test support for the cesium and rubidium product lines. The candidate will possess excellent hands-on, product level technical/engineering skills. Under the direction of the Product Engineering Manager, the Product Engineer will: Interpreting test requirements, developing, and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices. Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause. Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process. Engagement with Design and Test Development teams to solve issues impacting production. Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed Assisting manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware. Perform data collection, characterization, and statistical analysis. Conduct failure analysis using efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Identify and resolve device performance and yield issues related to design, test, package, or process issues. Manage multiple projects and deliver commitments to customers. Prepare and present technical data and communicate complex engineering concepts to development team members. Utilize RF/Microwave test equipment, test fixtures and measurement techniques. Execute all aspects of product release including the documentation, BOMs, datasheets, manufacturing flow, and test plans. Post release product yield analysis and manufacturing flow optimization. Develop and implement cost effective test solutions to improve capacity, volume, quality and yield.
