By joining our Modal Programs Branch as an Engineer-In-Training I in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and City Government, gain experience in Consultant Management, and assist district personnel across the State of Kentucky. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide assistance for the Bicycle and Pedestrian program. Coordinate and provide training for Bicycle and Pedestrian safety. Review policy and design of transportation facilities. Collaborate with the Forecasting and Modeling team. Ideal candidate will have experience in: Experience with the transportation planning process. Experience with bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. Written and verbal communication skills. Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • NONE
  • Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification.
  • Certification as an Engineer-In-Training recognized by the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors.
  • Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
  • Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possess and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials.
