About The Position

The Principal Access Provisioning Engineer is the senior technical engineer responsible for optimizing and automating enterprise provisioning and service‑activation operations in collaboration with system architecture and engineering teams. This role provides deep, hands‑on operational expertise with the Incognito Software Systems suite, with a primary focus on Broadband Command Center (BCC) and Service Activation Center (SAC), along with supporting other provisioning centric software modules and systems. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 7+ years of provisioning engineering or OSS/BSS operations
• Hands-on experience with incognito software suite
• Strong knowledge of DOCSIS, FTTH, IP Addressing, VLANS and voice activation flows
• Strong automation experience using Python and REST APIs.
• Expert-level proficiency in: Cisco Broadband Access Center (BAC).
• ISC KEA DHCP and ISC Stork.
• Large‑scale, multi‑vendor CPE ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and enforce enterprise provisioning and service‑activation standards, operational controls, and workflow best practices.
• Lead advanced provisioning and activation operations using the Incognito platform, including BCC service models, provisioning rules, DHCP/TFTP/DNS integration, device classification logic, SAC orchestration workflows, and fulfillment integrations.
• Execute and resolve complex provisioning scenarios, including high‑volume activations, multi‑service turn‑ups, re‑provisioning events, and exception handling across broadband, voice, and IP services.
• Partner with system architecture to design, implement, and evolve provisioning workflows.
• Ensure alignment with OSS/BSS systems and enforce security, hardening, and compliance requirements.
• Develop provisioning automation using Python and REST‑based APIs.
• Build automated validation for BCC and SAC activation events.
• Support CI/CD practices for provisioning tooling and configuration updates.
• Serve as escalation owner for complex provisioning and service‑activation incidents.
• Monitor provisioning KPIs and drive operational improvements.
• Lead operational readiness and production acceptance for new services, devices, and Incognito modules.
• Act as senior SME for Incognito provisioning capabilities.
• Collaborate with system architecture and engineering teams on workflow design and implementation.
• Mentor engineers and operations teams on Incognito configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Other duties as assigned
