HII is recognized as one of America’s top large company employers and is driven by strong values and ethics that puts people’s safety and well-being first. HII’s Mission Technologies Division develops integrated solutions that enable today’s connected, all-domain force. The present effort will deliver a prototype system to be used by Orbital Warfare and Electronic Warfare Range Operators to perform Mission Planning, make Range Safety decisions, and enable Range Instrumentation. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies and servant leadership principles to facilitate agile development teams. As part of a SAFe Agile Scrum Team, the Software Developer will develop and deploy a multi-functional Range Control System that integrates proven software technologies and an intuitive user experience into a secure cloud architecture. The Developer will support teams in delivering secure, compliant, integrated solutions incrementally through iterative development cycles. This includes maintaining high transparency via daily scrums and ensuring "building quality in" through rigorous integration testing and security validation. Collaboration will be essential, as the developer works across scrum teams, partner companies, and Government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical capabilities through an incremental implementation strategy responsive to dynamic customer demands.
