About The Position

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Subject Matter Expert (Engineer) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our C5ISR Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Possesses advanced technical and managerial skills; fully knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of a program or functional area. Applicable functional areas include systems engineering, network engineering, acquisition management, business process reengineering, specialty engineering (e.g., communications, systems safety, quality assurance, test and evaluation, reliability and maintainability, systems security etc.), organizational planning, financial management, acquisition logistics, configuration and data information systems, and support or program management.
  • Fully knowledgeable of all aspects of the program or programs under his/her management.
  • Experience or extensive knowledge with the processes and procedures related to the functional area.
  • Work independently under general guidelines or objectives.
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • At least twenty (20) years of experience or military experience E7 and up required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test and validation solutions, integrating instrumentation, embedded systems, and test methodologies according to Army standards.
  • Develop/write scripts for signal generation, acquisition, and analysis across a wide range of communication protocols and technologies.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of calibration and validation processes to improve operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Assist with system integration, testing, and end-user coordination.
  • Drive process improvements by implementing version control best practices, workflow optimization, and cross-platform reporting solutions.
  • Manage a project or projects; establish objectives and requirements and develop program/project standards and schedules.
  • Review/oversee the preparation of all related documentation and monitor outside resources.
  • Prepare reports and briefings; conduct program reviews and meetings.
  • Coordinate, review and supervise work of assigned staff.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
