About The Position

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking an Engineer, Systems IV to support the NIWC PAC Information Technology Management Support Services contract. The Engineer, Systems IV designs, implements, and maintains enterprise information systems that support the organization’s IT infrastructure. This senior-level role evaluates system requirements, defines technology solutions, and ensures integration with current applications while planning for scalability, performance, and security. The position monitors system health provides guidance to application development teams and implements robust security measures to protect organizational data and networks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; senior-level role with independent and collaborative responsibilities.
• IAT II (one of the following)
• CySA+
• CompTIA Security+
• CCNA - Security
• GICSP
• GSEC
• SSCP
• Clearance Level: Secret

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, storage, networking, and infrastructure components.
• Analyze system requirements and define technology solutions to meet current and future business needs.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Document infrastructure design, configurations, processes, and issues to track system health and operational status.
• Support application development teams with system integration, new technologies, and requirements planning.
• Design and implement security measures to safeguard organizational data, networks, and systems.
• Ensure infrastructure projects comply with security standards and integrate seamlessly with existing applications.
• Plan for system scalability and future technology needs.
• Apply expertise in infrastructure, application programming, and web/software applications to resolve complex technical challenges.
