About The Position

The Engineering Coordinator will report to the US Engineering Director. Specific Responsibilities:

Requirements

• A minimum 5 years' experience of working in a demanding Administrative/scheduling role in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience of working in a commercial engineering or industrial environment.
• Exposure to scheduling software (Procore, Project etc..).
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Populate Microsoft project chart with project dates and milestones taken from design schedules.
• Keep project chart up to date.
• Monitoring variation requests and logging + update schedule
• Provide weekly schedule of up-and-coming milestone dates for each engineer.
• Assist in planning workload.
• Designate live projects, sales support work & other tasks to Engineers to ensure projects and workload are equally distributed.
• Compile information from the project chart, engineers and assist in producing the monthly board report.
• Liaise with sales department for engineering support requirements & projected incoming projects.
• Recording which projects allocated to which engineers to prevent duplication.
• Produce a schedule and keep this live with sales and engineering visibility.
• Ensure engineering department procedures & processes are being implemented correctly.
• Assist in integrating new team members into the department in a structured manner
• Arrange travel/accommodation as required for the department.
• Assist in monitoring department cover during holiday requests etc.
• Timesheets logging into database.
• Complete weekly whereabouts tables
