Engineering Intern (High School-level)
About The Position
Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. We are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety-centric team. Requirements
- This is an internship position…high school students are encouraged to apply
- Currently enrolled in high school with coursework or extracurricular experience in robotics, mechatronics, automation or hands-on technical work
- Familiarity with programming concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Performing data entry and updates in the Engineering Product Data Management (PDM) system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Testing the design tool websites (sizing tools and configurators) to identify user interface (UI) issues and documenting findings clearly
- Assisting in creating and improving graphical user interface (GUI) elements in the websites to enhance usability and visualization
- Supporting technicians and engineers by helping organize components, tools, and materials for builds
