About The Position

The Engineering intern will work with the MTU AENA CIPT department, supporting CIPT Group Leaders to execute engineering tasks and special projects supporting the development of MTU components on commercial engines. The candidate will assist in design integration and project engineering tasks. For example, concessions reporting, component interface alignment, hardware and drawing evaluations, engine test support.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior academic standing, in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Able to work 5 days per week in-office
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles: design, thermodynamics, propulsion, experimental testing.
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Teamcenter a plus
  • Self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented
