As our Engineering Intern, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for supporting ENGIE’s Central Capex and Major Partnerships Team, concentrated on various technical engineering measures for The Ohio State University’s District Energy System (DES) as well as other DES’s for which the Team is responsible. The ideal candidate has an interest in obtaining practical experience within energy infrastructure. The internship work term will be June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026, full-time; no more than 40 hours per week. You will report to the Engineering Advisor. You will: Assist the Central Capex and Major Partnerships Engineering team as assigned Consolidate process data of the District Energy System to support decisions about infrastructure investments, equipment upgrades and to support expansion planning Collaborate on other work assignments including feasibility assessments, optimization and energy savings analyses, equipment accounting and organization, design plan reviews, and attending design meetings Cover resiliency assessments, capacity roadmaps, hydronic delta-T analyses, decarbonization studies, procurement and sourcing of utilities, and implementation and engineering acumen to support similar areas
