Lead and develop the AP engineering team by fostering a culture of continuous learning, providing clear guidance and support, and encouraging teamwork and innovation. Collaboration: Ensure engineering support of plant and cross-functional teams in pursuit of MOL (Manufacturing Operations and Logistics) and VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives. Project Management: Ensure the integrity of engineering work on processes and projects through a Stage Gate process. Provide timely and appropriately detailed updates on ongoing activities as requested by leadership (e.g., yearly reviews, stage gate presentations, project updates, production issues). Work with project managers to manage the budget for the Assembled Product Line. Technical Support: Guide the engineering team in all aspects of engineering, including product knowledge and application, product design and CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools, and design for manufacturability and reliability. Provide plant support, including assisting in engineering, manufacturing, and quality process and productivity improvement projects.
