As Suno’s Mobile Engineering Manager , your main responsibility will be hiring and leading the teams that develop and maintain our mobile apps, with an emphasis on Android development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing a mobile engineering team
  • Excel at both writing production code and leading engineering teams, with experience shipping complex features from concept to deployment
  • Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities while maintaining team focus
  • An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating and learning rapidly, and working hard

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a consumer tech company is preferred
  • Experience at both larger and smaller, high-growth companies is preferred
  • Experience scaling teams to 20+ software engineers is preferred
  • A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and grow a team of mobile engineers and team leads
  • Leadership responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, performance management, career development, and fostering team culture
  • Partner with other product and engineering leaders to facilitate cross-team alignment and coordinate execution across distributed engineering efforts
  • Ensure high code quality, robust testing, and scalable architecture while balancing rapid iteration with long-term maintainability and security requirements
