About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager who will own end-to-end technical delivery of projects while leading offshore engineering teams. This role requires strong technical judgment, delivery rigor, and the ability to translate stakeholder expectations into executable plans. The Engineering Manager will be accountable for timelines, quality, risk management, and technical outcomes, while acting as the single point of accountability for US stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of software engineering experience with 3–5 years in engineering management or senior technical leadership roles.
Strong hands-on experience with modern software stacks (backend, APIs, cloud-native systems).
Proven track record of owning delivery with offshore or distributed teams across time zones.
Solid understanding of system design, architecture patterns, scalability, and performance optimization .
Deep experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and SDLC best practices.
Ability to make data-driven delivery decisions and manage trade-offs between speed, quality, and technical excellence.
Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and data-intensive systems.
Prior experience in enterprise, SaaS, or platform engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Own and drive end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring commitments on scope, timelines, quality, and cost are met.
Provide technical leadership and direction to offshore teams, including architecture guidance, design reviews, and implementation oversight.
Translate business and stakeholder requirements into clear technical plans, milestones, and execution roadmaps .
Act as the primary technical and delivery interface for US stakeholders, providing transparent status, metrics, risks, and mitigation plans.
Proactively identify, assess, and resolve delivery risks, technical debt, dependencies, and quality issues .
Review and approve system designs, APIs, data models, and critical code changes to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Drive Agile delivery execution : sprint planning, backlog prioritization, estimation accuracy, and release management.
Enforce engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality standards, observability, and production readiness.
Partner with DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to ensure stable environments and smooth releases across dev, test, and production.
Mentor offshore technical leads and engineers, ensuring clarity of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, reliability, and governance standards.
