About the position
We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join the Video Engineering EPM team to work on next generation video technology! The ideal candidate will have experience in product development and program/project/product management, strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with an amazing team to develop new technologies! As an EPM you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan and track firmware and low-level software projects to support the technology development. You will build development schedules, identify critical paths, and drive project/programs through execution. You'll identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership with Apple technologists while ensuring continuous tight coordination and communication with engineering teams. You will also synthesize and abstract large amounts of data into concise written and verbal analyses that provide key findings, recommendations and actionable items. We are seeking a proactive and driven new team member to join us!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive, plan and track firmware and low-level software projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in program management.
Nice-to-haves
- Program management experience taking a product through all the stages of development.
- Experience in embedded firmware/software development and ML video processing.
- Consumer product development experience.
- Ability to understand and deal well with changes while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty and/or ambiguity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities with a cross-functional collaborative approach.
- Self-motivation with creative and critical thinking capabilities.
