About The Position

We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to our client in Gibsonia. Job Information: Ref. # 195005/195006: Two 6-year-old siblings taking separate, back-to-back lessons Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Gibsonia, PA 15044 (near Greystone Fields wedding venue) Availability: Monday and Wednesday at 6pm Lesson Frequency and Duration: Twice per week, 30 minutes per student Current target language level: Novice Native language: Spanish Students' language needs and goals: Vocabulary and communication skills for school
Requirements
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
- Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching children
Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
