About The Position
Full-time English Teacher Model professional and ethical standards while working with students, peers, and parents Ability to engage students while teaching appropriate grade level standards Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of a wide range of instructional strategies and techniques Strong skills with building relationships within the classroom Analyze data to make instructional decisions for each student Understanding the importance of connecting with parents on an ongoing and timely basis Knowledge/use of restorative practices helpful Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the elementary climate, curriculum, and programming
Requirements
- Teaching certificate for grades 6-12 in area of English
