About The Position

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be working on exciting infrastructure-driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year. From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess the technology they have today and design the solutions they need for tomorrow. The Enterprise Architect assists the Chief Architect during Professional Services engagements and works with Lead or Principal consultants and other cross-functional teams on complex customer projects. The Enterprise Architect is a technical and business outcome leader that will provide oversight and alignment between Arganteal Engineers, Architects, and the customer technical or business leaders for projects. The Enterprise Architect may be assigned to lead customer-facing services projects of varying size and complexity that will often include the development of project deliverables (examples include white papers, plans, strategies, designs, assessments, and business case analyses). When the Enterprise Architect is designated the Solution / Technical leader, they will combine with PMO leadership to form the “Two in the Box” model, a vital part of the Arganteal approach to driving successful project outcomes.

Requirements

A Enterprise Architect is required to have an industry recognized enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, Department of Defense Architecture, or Federal Enterprise Architecture.
Minimum ten years (10) of industry experience in enterprise IT management, technology consulting, advisory or professional services;
5 years' experience as a C-Suite Senior or Lead Consultant or equivalent experience;

Nice To Haves

Thorough understanding at least one major Arganteal technology practice area, key technology partners and market trends;
Post-graduate training in business-related discipline or management;
Advanced client-facing skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems, influence and negotiate with clients;
Demonstrated technical consulting experience in one or more of the following vertical sectors: government, public sector, higher education, finance, health care, technology, or other commercial.

Responsibilities

Solutions / Technical Leadership Role:
The Enterprise Architect understands all client scopes and objectives. They will be the one solution / technical voice facing the client externally and the escalation point internally for Arganteal employees, Partners, and Contractors.
The Enterprise Architect will partner with the PMO counterpart to resolve Risks and Issues upon identification.
The Enterprise Architect is accountable for resolving technical Risks and Issues in their project using their background and the array of resources available within Arganteal.
The Enterprise Architect holds staff, contractors, and partners responsible for ensuring that The Arganteal best practices and templates are followed and delivered to the customer.
The Enterprise Architect will review deployment documents, technical assessments, and other technical outputs to ensure a correct and consistent tone is delivered as defined by “One Voice.”
The Enterprise Architect will manage their respective project as if it were their own stand-alone business and deliver a service that focuses on profitability and professionalism.
Technical / Line of Business contact between Arganteal and customer from the beginning to the end of a project, ensuring the team meets the customer's desired outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to carry out architecture activities and methodologies leading to comprehensive discovery, analysis, and technical/business recommendations.
