About The Position

The Enterprise Business Development Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth by leveraging an in-depth understanding of the company’s services, solutions, and value proposition. This role focuses on improving overall business performance through strategic relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and effective leadership. The Enterprise Business Development Lead will drive initiatives that align with organizational goals while guiding and developing the broader business development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Experience selling a service required.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a sales team required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience with a longer, complex sales cycle preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with prospects.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect needs.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and pipeline management to ensure strong conversion rates.
  • Analyze prospective client needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and business development team members.
  • Use data and analytics to guide decision making and refine sales approaches.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to business development team members based on prospective client interactions and outcomes.
  • Support business development through presentations and training initiatives aimed at increasing sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Share best practices and effective sales techniques to improve team performance.
  • Monitor, track, and report on sales metrics and trends.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales activities, forecasts, and results.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
