How you will make history here... The Enterprise Platforms Business Analyst Integration Business Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and integration delivery teams to define, refine, and govern integration requirements across Microsoft Azure Integration Hub and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role owns end to end integration requirements, from discovery and intake through SIT and UAT readiness, ensuring that integrations are clearly defined, compliant, and aligned to enterprise integration patterns and platform standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting system or data integrations.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and/or SAP BTP.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting SIT and UAT for integration or middleware solutions.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within an Integration Hub or Integration Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Familiarity with Azure integration concepts (APIs, event driven vs synchronous, data transformation).
  • Familiarity with SAP ecosystems (SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or SAP Integration Suite).
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
  • Exposure to compliance, data privacy, or regulated data environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integration discovery sessions with business, application, and technical stakeholders to understand business needs, data flows, and integration objectives.
  • Elicit, document, and validate functional and non functional integration requirements for Azure and SAP BTP solutions.
  • Determine and document whether integrations require Azure, SAP BTP, or a hybrid approach, based on architecture, source/target systems, and enterprise standards.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to align requirements with approved integration patterns (e.g., Hub and Spoke, Pub/Sub, synchronous vs asynchronous).
  • Own and complete Integration Hub intake and discovery forms for Azure and BTP, ensuring accuracy and completeness before development begins.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Support backlog refinement by answering requirement questions and clarifying scope for integration engineers and architects.
  • Ensure integrations meet the Definition of Ready prior to sprint execution.
  • Act as the primary Business Analyst owner for System Integration Testing (SIT) for Azure and BTP integrations.
  • Coordinate with source and target system teams to validate test scenarios, data mappings, and expected outcomes.
  • Partner with Product Owners to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness and execution.
  • Validate that delivered integrations meet documented requirements and business outcomes.
  • Ensure integration requirements address data sensitivity, privacy, and compliance considerations, especially for regulated or sensitive data.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Security teams as needed to address Azure and BTP control requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Integration Hub, Azure, and BTP standards, procedures, and naming conventions.
  • Support audits and documentation requests related to integration design and delivery.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for business teams requesting integrations.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and platform teams.
  • Help onboard new requestors to the Integration Hub process and expectations.
