About The Position

Acura of Highland Park, a proud member of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team. New leadership is focused on rebuilding the service department and growing technician hours, creating strong earning opportunities and long-term career growth for technicians who want to develop their skills and advance in the industry. If you have basic mechanical experience, trade school training, or quick-service background and want to grow into a full automotive technician career, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
• Trade school or prior shop experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Follow dealership service procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommendations.
• Participate in manufacturer training and skill development.
