What You Will Do: As an NDT/NDE Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of various metal structures. Working closely with experienced staff, you will perform routine metals materials testing services, becoming proficient in the operation and calibration of test equipment and reporting requirements. This position involves engaging in fieldwork, which may include safely climbing steel structures such as buildings, cell phone towers, and water tanks to heights exceeding 200 feet, using fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems. This position requires flexibility, with 50+ hour work weeks during peak periods, as well as off-shift and weekend work as needed. Experience in Safety, DDC, NDT, and Radiation Training, including the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems, is a plus.
