About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Plant Maintenance Technician. This role supports the safe and efficient operation of our facilities through basic maintenance tasks, equipment upkeep, and general office maintenance. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining several facilities and ensuring a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a variety of environments including outdoor conditions, elevated areas, and confined spaces
May be exposed to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection may be required

Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Office Support Assist with light repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and assembling furniture, changing air filters.
Support office moves and setup of workstations
Facility inspections (roof, siding, etc.).
Plant Equipment Maintenance Conduct visual inspections of plant equipment
Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) tasks such as greasing, oiling, and filter changes
Help troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues under supervision
Use hand tools and air-powered tools for minor repairs
Perform safety checks on tools, cords, and lifting equipment
Reporting & Safety Complete equipment pre-shift inspections and workplace exams
Report any safety concerns or equipment defects to the manager
Attend safety meetings and follow all safety policies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Team Support Provide backup support to other team members as needed
Participate in training and development opportunities
