Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-orientated Project Accountant to join our team. As part of the Finance Team, the Project Accountant will participate in general accounting duties such as collections, project budget set-up and other team functions.  Individual must be able to make decisions, think independently, be tolerant of multiple billing formats and practices, and work well as a supporting member of a team.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience: Previous Intern experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete general ledger & financial reporting responsibility for all aspects of A/P
  • Review AR aging report on a weekly basis and contact clients as needed for outstanding invoices.
  • Keep detailed collection notes and update client database.
  • Verify and reconcile records and accounts.
  • Work with biller to identify invoicing issues and assist in resolution of the issues.
  • Complete AP checks and credit card processing.
  • Complete inter-department purchasing.
  • Produce weekly accounting reports.
  • Create PO’s and new project setup
