About The Position

For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. Maguire needs entry level sales representatives for Nebraska and Iowa to speak with prospects, customers and engage in all levels of sales process. We will train on the critical skills necessary to be successful in a sales role and ready for their next phase in a sales career. We need to build bench strength individuals to fill open territories and grow our organization to meet the goals we have set. Essential Functions: Responsible for setting appointments and phone calls for both new prospects and current customers. Maintain and track records of calls, appointments and field marketing event attendance. Identify and contact prospective new customers to determine water tank needs. Make phone calls focusing on building rapport, uncovering needs and ultimately booking inspections/washouts and appointments Prospect research in assigned territory. Support sales efforts of senior territory representative Present recommendations, scope of work, and pricing proposals to identified current and prospect customers. Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as construction bid specifications and contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Possess strong analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, strong administrative skills, the ability to multi-task, and knowledge of systems and PC skills (INFOR, Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains, MS CRM, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 for driving responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
