We are seeking an Entry-Level Tooling Machinist who has foundational machining knowledge and wants to build a long-term career in mold and tooling fabrication while working alongside experienced machinists. Requirements
- Knowledge of basic machining operations
- Willingness to learn, follow direction, and grow technical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Technical diploma, associate degree, or coursework in Machining, Tool & Die, or Machine Tool Technology preferred
- Entry-level machining experience, internships, or shop training acceptable
Responsibilities
- Operate a surface grinder to sharpen steel punches and dies with guidance
- Perform basic machining, drilling, and CNC operations under supervision
- Assist with mold construction and completion using shop equipment such as drills, mills, saws, and lathes
- Learn CNC setup and basic programming adjustments with support from experienced staff
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product quality and safety
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with 5S standards
- Care for machines, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Work collaboratively with tooling, production, and engineering teams
