About The Position

Greenberg Traurig’s Denver office is seeking an Environmental Associate with 4-6 years of environmental, natural resources law and related litigation experience. Qualified applicants must have excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Applicants must also have education and practical experience in the areas of air quality, natural resource development, and/or federal or state administrative law. Experience with water quality, water law, and/or solid and hazardous waste law is strongly preferred. Must be highly self-motivated, able to meet time-sensitive responsibilities and manage multiple work streams, hard-working, responsive and an excellent communicator, flexible, and willing to occasionally travel. Prior experience as a judicial clerk, a national law firm, or a federal or state environmental agency, Department of Justice, or state attorney general’s office is preferred. Applicants must possess strong work ethic and be very team oriented. Applicants must be admitted or able to be admitted to the Colorado Bar. Other western state bar admissions also a plus. The expected pay range for this position is: $220,000 - $260,000 per year Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Requirements
