About The Position

The Environmental Compliance Specialist has two primary functions: 1. Verify the field records provided by the area managers for the land application. 2. Assist and support the environmental team on special projects and reports. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in environmental compliance, EHS, or regulatory support.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field locations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in waste management, recycling, composting, or industrial operations.
Familiarity with EPA reporting systems and compliance software.
OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or similar certifications.
Experience working in multi-site or field-based environments.

Responsibilities

Based on permits, set up fields in OMS with acres, crops, permit number, expiration dates, new permit revision, location, latitude and longitude, landowner information, landowner agreements, and maps.
Processes field records for various land application operations, filling out/scanning the documents.
Verifies use of correct Pans, units of measurement, volume, correct product, type of application, etc.
Communicates with operations on missing field logs, incorrectness of records, and/or holding tables.
Reviews and interprets field data for compliance with required regulations and Denali BMPs. Communicates compliance gaps with regional environmental and operations teams.
Compiles data into required weekly, monthly, or annual reports to maintain compliance with state and/or federal regulations.
