About The Position

As the Environmental Compliance Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting the Environmental, Permitting, and Community Relations team. You ensure the company meets its regulatory obligations and stakeholder commitments by maintaining efficient systems for reporting, documentation, and budget management. Your proactive organization, communication skills, and attention to detail enable the team to operate effectively and uphold our regulatory and community credibility.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in environmental science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in an administrative or compliance‑support role, preferably within environmental or industrial sectors.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy of all environmental records.

Nice To Haves

  • Nevada Notary Public commission preferred, or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations relevant to Nevada is preferred.
  • Experience with record keeping, compliance processes, or administrative support in industrial settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standardized work practices, procedures, and documentation systems for the Environmental, Permitting, and Community Relations team.
  • Track agency and stakeholder correspondence, ensuring timely responses and fulfillment of commitments.
  • Monitor reporting deadlines and coordinate environmental inspections, data collection, and high‑quality report submissions.
  • Facilitate clear communication between environmental staff, regulatory agencies, and internal departments.
  • Create and maintain procedures for record‑keeping, document management, and information access across company systems.
  • Support fee payments, vendor invoicing, purchasing, and contract coordination.
  • Track budgets, expenditures, and forecasts, and prepare routine performance updates.
  • Assist with documentation of incidents, corrective actions, and follow‑up activities.
  • Manage electronic and physical records in alignment with regulatory and company retention requirements.
  • Support preparation and submission of environmental reports, permits, and monitoring documentation.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, filing, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Support tribal and community engagement activities with logistics and coordination.
  • Enter environmental data into logs, spreadsheets, and databases with accuracy and consistency.
