Eligibility requirements vary by position. Remain current in all Food Safety & Environmental, Health & Safety technical skills, including, accident investigation, HACCP & root cause analysis. Analyze food safety & safety trends to identify areas for improvement. Publish monthly reports & dashboards to communicate results and drive improvement. Collaborate with the field safety team on developing strategies to improve safety, enhance food safety, assess high risk areas, address incidents to maintain a safe environment for team members and members. Develop and execute Food Safety & Environmental, Health & Safety programs. Update as necessary to ensure they meet or exceed industry standards. Examples include health &hygiene, sanitation, food safety controls, life safety and emergency preparedness, powered industrial trucks, machine guarding, and personal protective equipment. Assist in meeting all government agency requirements (e.g.: OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, USDA & DHS). Respond to regulatory inspections, investigations and recalls. Manage the cross functional recall team to ensure all recalls are executed properly. Work with vendors and internal business partners to supply the Clubs with cost effective equipment, signage and programs to promote execution of safety practices and regulatory compliance. Respond and provide support for any environmental spills. Support OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory reporting necessary for compliance. Develop partnerships with all home office teams, including Operations, Human Resources, Asset Protection, Merchandising, Logistics and Facilities to support the clubs. Build strategic partnerships to provide outstanding level of service to internal and external stakeholders. Support various company initiatives and strategic priorities by providing guidance based on industry best practices as they apply to Food Safety & Environmental, Health & Safety. Coordinates activities with insurance carriers, local, state, and federal agencies.
