About The Position

As an Air Lab Technician I based in our Richmond, VA lab, you will be part of Montrose, a global environmental services provider. We focus on environmental planning, measurement, and sustainability solutions. Our team is dedicated to optimizing environmental resiliency and helping clients meet their project requirements. You will be responsible for performing tasks that meet client expectations and generating defensible data efficiently and profitably.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor of Science Degree preferred
• Strong MS Office skills
• Strong mechanical skills and enjoy working with tools on a daily basis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational skills and strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and to lift/manipulate smaller weight items throughout the day
• Ability to stand and move about for approximately 80+% of the shift

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of general lab practices and lab safety
• Database/LIMS experience is highly preferred
• Prior warehouse and/or shipping and receiving experience

Responsibilities

• Sample/Equipment Receipt
• Sample Pressurization/Preparation
• Sample Screening
• Sample Archive Management
• Flow Controller inspection, calibration, leak checking
• Assist with the loading of cleaning batches
• Assist with equipment order assembly/packing
• Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
• Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan
• Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director
