As a Environmental Services Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices. This role supports infection control and contributes to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization. How you'll contribute An Environmental Services Aide who excels in this role: Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule. Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily. Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness. Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information Must maintain professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff. Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols.
